Absorption and Immune support

A 2015 clinical study evaluated the effects of ReadiSorb® Glutathione on immune function and glutathione in individuals with low glutathione levels associated with HIV. In this randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled university study, participants taking ReadiSorb showed significant increases in glutathione levels, particularly in plasma concentrations, over a three-month period.

Researchers also observed improved immune cell function in the ReadiSorb group compared to placebo. When participants’ immune cells were exposed to tuberculosis bacteria in laboratory testing, bacterial growth was reduced in the cells from those taking ReadiSorb and grew in the cells from those taking placebo, suggesting enhanced immune defense activity.

The study further highlighted glutathione’s role in supporting important immune cells, including Th1 lymphocytes and macrophages, which help protect the body against bacteria and viruses.

Participants consumed 1.5 teaspoons of ReadiSorb® twice daily during the study.
